I want to start this blog post off by saying how much I enjoyed this workshop. Workshops are definitely not just about the styled shoot portion of the day and I headed there with that mindset already. I knew that I wanted to learn from this woman because I looked up to her and adored her work. Sarah is truly the sweetest person in the world and I would do this again and again if I could. We started the day out at Panera and had some pretty amazing lunch. I've got to admit - I was worried we were going to be stuck there because there were like 15+ of us in Panera and they aren't known for their quickness... However, Panera did great and we were in and out and had eaten within 45 minutes! Woohoo!
We then traveled to Salubria where we introduced ourselves and started the styled shoot because the sun was going to be gone soon. I adored shooting these two love birds and I love that they got to play dress up one year after their actual wedding. And boy, let me tell you - this man loves his wife because he looks at her like he doesn't deserve her almost every second of the day. What a sweetheart - so smitten!
Angela and DJ did a fantastic job modeling for us the rest of the day and even posed while we got our headshots done!
Later, we went inside to the classroom and had some iced tea and Ghirardelli chocolate squares while we listened to Sarah tell us about her ways...
It was truly amazing listening to Sarah talk about her passion. You could see much it mattered to her whether each and every one of us understood her. She took her time, and with a sweet smile, she delivered the most amazing information. I learned about anything from who to host a website through to the purpose of a second shooter at a wedding to gifts to give to my clients. Sarah inspired me and I am so happy that I went to her workshop.
Uhm, she is GORGEOUS!! Just amazing. And that dress?! Almost took it home with me even though it was $2,000...
Now for the details...Oh, how I just wanted to go home with these rings...They are just oh so lovely...
